About Our Supervising Instructor

He was certified to teach Driver Education in 1969. He has instructed over 3000 people to drive. He is honest, knowledgeable, fair, and strives for professional perfection. He is probably the most respected driving school owner in Southern New Jersey.

About Our Owners

Harper Driving School was purchased by the Rue and Tyrell families in January 2007. Tim and Allison Rue both grew up in Pitman and worked under Mr. Harper for many years. They have benefited greatly from his training. Tim is a history teacher at Williamstown High School and Allison is a Pitman field hockey coach. Both have logged thousands of hours in driving instruction.

Jason and Celess Tyrell have spent their lives in Southern New Jersey. Jason is a pastor at Joy Community Fellowship in Pitman. Celess is the Education Services Coordinator for the American Nephrology Nurses Association. Jason spent many hours in the office of Harper Driving School learning the best way to run a top notch driving school. He looks forward to when Celess can begin working alongside him in the office.

The Rues and Tyrells are excited to be able to serve South Jersey with the same quality driving instruction that they saw demonstrated by Craig Harper.
